Our projects range from high-end residential builds to commercial refurbishments. We’re now looking for an experienced Working Foreman to join our team and take a hands-on lead on site.
The Role:
As a Working Foreman, you’ll be the bridge between the client and the Project Manager —managing trades, ensuring high standards, and getting stuck in yourself. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day site operations, safety compliance, and working closely with the project manager, keeping projects on time and to budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate site operations and trades
- Read and interpret plans, ensuring work is carried out to spec
- Ensure H&S standards are met at all times
- Liaise with clients, project managers, and subcontractors
- Provide hands-on support in carpentry, general building, or your specialist trade
- Manage materials, deliveries, and site documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a foreman or senior tradesperson in construction
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Trade qualification (e.g., carpentry, bricklaying, etc.)
- Ability to work from drawings and plans
- First Aid, SMSTS or SSSTS preferred but not essential
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
